The Door Entry Intercom plays an important role on Apartments Blocks and Business premises. In conjunction with electronic locking it can keep unwanted visitors out and grant Welcome Guests access after verification via an Audio or Video Call.

Traditional System communicate with hard wired dedicated indoor Monitors/Stations often located on Reception Desk or within the Apartment, while the more Advanced solutions can now connect to the newer Digital Phone Lines and Hosted telephone servers via SIP/VOIP. 

In a Office or Commercial environment, the intercom can be programmed to call the desk phones of different groups/departments such as Sales, Warehouse or Reception using the telephone system.

In an Apartment Block, the panel can instead ring the residents Mobile or Landline number which can eliminate the need for dedicated Monitors/Stations and the associated wiring to each apartment.
